LLNN Coverage of Anime Expo 2004

The biggest and most competitive evening of the AX2004 weekend climaxed at the Masquerade cosplay contest with characters from all kinds of anime including Clover, Mermaid Melody Pichu Pichu Pitch, Final Fantasy, Gravitation, Initial D, Transformers, Villgust, Dynasty Warriors, Petshop of Horrors, YuGiOh, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Angel Sanctuary, Chobits, Evangelion, Furikuri, Cowboy Bebop, Disgaea , One Piece, Rayearth, X, Escaflowne, .Hack, War of Genesis, Ranma, Slayers, Pita Ten, Shinsengumi, Gundam, and more. #26 Harry Potter can't seem to get it right. So Gomu Gomu no Cosplay teaches him a few lessons on Pirate Eye for the LandLubber! *Winner!* Group Presentation Runner Up	#28 Let's do the fanfic time warp again! Kame Mochi presented characters from Rayearth fabbing it out Rocky Horror style. Winner! Mr. Jaffee Judge's Award	#30 Be careful what you wish for! CAPP with Anti-Baca Girls presented a stage dance musical as imagined by those wacky chobocos.

#31 Maru Maru Studios presented characters from X pondering the logic of human existence.	#32 Baka Neko presented the graceful twin characters Nariya and Eriya from Escaflowne	#34 The Chibi Project presented a hilarious LARP skit with characters from .Hack looking into the world of Dungeons and Dragons.

#35 It's a cosplay petting zoo as Pink Lemon Productions presented Cosplayer Hunter with a "down under" twist. Winner! Novice Runner Up	#36 Koyasu No Miko performed an exclusive stage song for all his bishounen fans. *Winner!* Individual Craftsmanship Runner Up	#37 It's another lovely Chobits cosplay night with the Celestial Ones.
